Done your taxes yet?

Hope so, because today's the deadline, chief. We sent ours away via snail mail on March 25. According to the timeframe provided by the tax authorities, the money should have shown up in our bank account by now, but it's not there yet. (I've heard it's slow-going this year.) 

It's making me a little nervous and a little mad at myself for being a cheap bastard and not springing for delivery confirmation. That money is going to keep us afloat while I look for steady work. Let's hope it shows itself ...
